Welcome to the home page for XRunning. This is a loosely defined running sport that encompasses a wide variety of runners from those who have their own personal pursuits in running to those gathering with like-minded individuals into associations for events and activities. Our key goal is to encourage running to be a fun activity for ourselves and others. If physical fitness or racing goals are accidentally accomplished in the process, so much the better. For a better definition of what XRunning is all about, please click on About XRunning and see if you would fit into this sporting categorization.

On the XRunning website, we plan to:
  • Tell stories of distant running locations in our Travel section with XRunning experiences from around the world.

  • Inform you with information a runner should know about Health and Safety.

  • For the more social amongst you, provide information on how to gather other XRunners like yourself together for some rather interesting activities in local XRunning Associations, while introducing you to other clubs and activities that may appeal to the XRunner.

  • List a calendar of XRunning and other running Events around the world.

  • Catalog a resource of XRunning Activities, with complete details on how to setup and manage them.

  • Provide a Running Log that will allow XRunners to record their runs for later reflection on their progress.

  • Provide Running Links to a wealth of running websites out there that may be of interest to the XRunner.

Please be patient, it will take time to get all of this rolling, but keep coming back, we hope you find the wait worth it. The webmaster and editor provides the largest website for the world’s largest running club, the Hash House Harriers, so it is hoped this will contribute to creating a valuable home and resource this newer running genre.
